I had a really cool experience with the Lord today.  At my church we take turns doing this prayer chain thing.  I was at my church alone in the prayer room with IHOP streaming to the video screen (so cool!) and I had my feet pressed to the altar and I could just feel the Lord pressing into me.  I felt the closest I had ever felt with Him in a long time.  Just then, my little girl walked in the room and started to hand me stuff.  I didn't want to leave the spot where I was standing, so I just set down the things she was giving me. 

The Lord then spoke to me and told me that I don't have to ever leave that place so close to him if I continue to lay down everything.  That I had to lay everything that he or anyone else gives me at his feet so that it would never come between us.  It amazed me to realized that I wasn't even to cling to the things He gives me, but to continually give it back to him so that it never becomes my focus. 

I happened to have my camera with me so I took a crazy picture so that I would never forget what the Lord showed me .
